The NomadMat is made from premium VSEBS-based TPE. It’s free of PVC, EVA, recycled plastic blends, phthalates, natural latex, heavy metals, PFAS, and formaldehyde. The mat is produced with a one-piece molding process that uses no glue or solvents, resulting in a clean, low-odor surface.

The material composition and durability, chemical-free statements, SGS test results, and California Proposition 65 compliance information are provided by our manufacturer based on their testing and certifications. While we carefully select partners and review the documentation they supply, NomadMat does not independently re-test every batch and does not warrant these claims beyond the manufacturer’s representations.

It is free of PVC, phthalates, heavy metals, PFAS, formaldehyde, and recycled plastic blends, and is produced using a one-piece process with no glue or solvents. Our manufacturer uses only virgin materials and partners with a third party to recycle manufacturing scrap. While it is not a natural rubber or biodegradable mat, it offers a lower-chemical alternative for everyday practice.

Fully unfold the mat, reverse the direction of each fold several times, then lay it flat on the floor overnight. It will continue to lay flatter with regular use.

Wipe it down with a soft cloth after every use. Deep clean as needed when you notice buildup or stains.

For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth with warm water and a mild, alcohol-free detergent. Wipe gently and air dry completely in a cool, shaded area.

Never use bleach or any bleach containing product on your mat.  It degrades the mat material and its custom color.

No. Never machine wash, machine dry, or fully submerge your mat in water.

Do not use bleach, high-concentration alcohol, acetone, strong acids or alkalis, essential oils, abrasive cleaners, or stiff brushes. These can damage the surface, grip, and color.

Fold along its natural creases and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. For longer storage, lay it flat when possible and avoid placing heavy objects on the folded creases.

Yes, but avoid long-term tight compression or continuous pressure on the folds, as this can affect the cushioning over time.

Yes. With regular use and proper care, it will lay flatter and fold more compactly.

Yes. After outdoor use, wipe it clean and air dry in the shade. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods, as UV exposure can accelerate aging and yellowing.

Mix a diluted baking soda solution in water below 40°C (104°F). Softly scrub the area, then rinse with a clean damp cloth. Do not soak the mat for more than 15 minutes. Air dry completely in the shade.
