The NomadMat - Glacier

The NomadMat is made from premium VSEBS-based TPE. It’s free of PVC, EVA, recycled plastic blends, phthalates, natural latex, heavy metals, PFAS, and formaldehyde. The mat is produced with a one-piece molding process that uses no glue or solvents, resulting in a clean, low-odor surface.

Yes. It has a double-sided textured surface (mesh on one side, micro-dots on the other) that stays securely in place on wood, tile, marble, and most studio floors, even during lightly sweaty sessions.

The NomadMat performs well in moderately warm environments and with light to moderate sweat. For hotter or more intense sessions, we recommend pairing it with a yoga towel for extra moisture absorption and grip.

Yes. It is specifically designed to fold into a compact 12" × 12" × 5" square that fits easily in a tote, backpack, or carry-on — giving you studio-level cushioning that travels with you.

The NomadMat is currently available in our standard size (72" × 24" open / 12" × 12" × 5" folded) in four core Pantone colors: Atlas, Glacier, Canyon, and Sand.

The material composition and durability, chemical-free statements, SGS test results, and California Proposition 65 compliance information are provided by our manufacturer based on their testing and certifications. While we carefully select partners and review the documentation they supply, NomadMat does not independently re-test every batch and does not warrant these claims beyond the manufacturer’s representations.

The NomadMat is built for repeated use and frequent folding. Its high-resilience foam rebounds quickly and resists permanent indentations, while the surface has been tested by our manufacturer to withstand 6,000+ abrasion cycles without shedding or wearing through. With normal indoor use and proper care, our manufacturer indicates it should maintain its cushion, grip, and appearance for 2–3 years or longer.

The NomadMat is made with a cleaner material profile than many traditional mats. It is free of PVC, phthalates, heavy metals, PFAS, formaldehyde, and recycled plastic blends, and is produced using a one-piece process with no glue or solvents. Our manufacturer uses only virgin materials and partners with a third party to recycle manufacturing scrap. While it is not a natural rubber or biodegradable mat, it offers a lower-chemical alternative for everyday practice.
